Steven Sills
IT Director & Blockchain Consultant - United States
“The Universal Business Council certification opened doors I never expected. Within three months of completing the program, I transitioned from a traditional IT management role into blockchain consulting, doubling my freelance income.”
Steven Sills: la sua storia
Before discovering Universal Business Council, Steven had spent over 15 years in traditional IT infrastructure management. While he was successful, he felt the industry was shifting beneath his feet. Blockchain technology kept appearing in industry reports and leadership meetings, and he knew he needed to upskill or risk obsolescence.
Steven enrolled in the Certified Blockchain Expert program, drawn by the comprehensive curriculum that covered everything from cryptographic foundations to enterprise use cases. He was particularly impressed by the practical smart contract labs and real-world case studies that went beyond theoretical concepts.
The certification gave Steven the credibility he needed to pitch blockchain solutions to his company's leadership team. Within six months, he was leading a cross-departmental blockchain pilot for supply chain tracking. The project's success caught the attention of industry peers, leading to consulting opportunities that expanded his professional network significantly.
Today, Steven runs a boutique blockchain consulting practice alongside his full-time role. He advises mid-sized enterprises on blockchain strategy and implementation, leveraging the frameworks and best practices he first learned through Universal Business Council.
